Frequently asked questions.

How do you price your work (hourly, per project, or other)?

Our pricing is flexible. For clearly defined projects, we provide a fixed, per-project quote. However, if the project scope changes or requires ongoing work, we switch to an hourly rate to ensure all time is compensated.

Can you provide a written estimate before starting?

Providing a detailed, written estimate is a standard part of our process. It ensures we both have clear and mutual understanding of the project before we begin any work. We will prepare an estimate that includes the project’s scope, a breakdown of costs, and a tentative timeline. Once you review and approve it, we can get started.

Will you notify me ahead of time if there are more expenses than expected?

We have a standard protocol for handling this. Our initial quote/deposit is based on the agreed-upon scope of work, and we track expenses closely against that plan. If we encounter an issue that will increase costs — such as unforeseen challenges or a change you request — we will immediately notify you. We will then present a formal ‘change order’ that details the new work, the updated timeline and the additional costs for your approval before we proceed.

Will you be working alone or will you have a crew?

As a small family-owned handyman business, we specialize in one-man projects. While this may influence the variety of projects we accept, it enables us to deliver exceptional productivity and craftsmanship for our clients. We take pride in our ability to focus on every detail, ensuring that each project is completed to the highest standard.

What is your experience with this type of work?

Our small family-owned business was founded on a passion for the construction and maintenance trades. Our handyman is a jack of all trades with experience in Construction, Excavation, and Masonry. We also believe in transparency. If your project request is beyond our skill set, we will be upfront and honest about it. Our handyman dabbles in many fields but dishonesty is not one of them.

Can you provide references?

Yes, we encourage all our clients to explore our online reviews on Yelp and Google. Additionally, we can provide images of our completed work upon request.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes, we are fully insured as a small handyman business and proudly comply with all city and state ordinances regarding our licensing.

What are your cleanup policies?

A clean work environment is a safe work environment. We include pre-project protection, systematic cleaning (top-to-bottom), and post-project debris removal and a final cleanup, all while prioritizing safety and clear communication with our clients.
